Title: Our Covenant

We come together as followers of Jesus to worship God and walk in God's
ways as they are made known to us.

— Adopted by Congregation 1976, Alt.

We offer membership to all persons without regard to race, class, ethnic background or sexual orientation.

--Adopted by Congregation 1964, re-affirmed 2006

We are a diverse congregation acknowledging many names for God, and many ways for God. Which way we choose is not as important as whether we have chosen. The language of our worship is not intended to be the last word, but the

first. The last word is between us and our Creator.

--Adopted by Deacons 1992

We strive to be an Open and Affirming congregation, freely offering full Participation in services and sacraments, and ordination for those who are qualified, to every person who, affirming our covenant, desires to be part of the life of this congregation.

--Adopted by Congregation 1999 & 2007

We use the diverse strengths of all age groups to educate and encourage each other to respond to the needs of our members, our community, and our world, by offering the time, talents and treasures God has given us.

--Adopted by Congregation 2000
